Discussion Would you rather kill your self now or suffer for the remainder of your life?

I don't really believe that ctb is worth it, Sometimes when you're in a really dark place mentally it can feel like the only option, but then you just force yourself into sleep and wake up on the next day like nothing happened. I feel like I'd rather just give up on life and play video games for the rest of my life than just end it all, also I still have some people to take revenge on. Of course my life situation is relatively easy compared to others, so I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.

There's no right or wrong. Most people here are pro choice. So that whatever choice one decides is up to them. I too have a revenge aspect, as I want to be alive to see my father that I detest die first. I won't give him the pleasure of out lasting me. Muahahaha.

i think dying by your own hand is a very courageous and respectable thing to do. living until you eventually just pass naturally is very cowardly.

This does not work for everyone. Some people wake up just as depressed as when they went to sleep. Some people wake up feeling worse.

Sitting around playing video games is not a satisfying existence for everyone. Video games also do not always overcome the negativity in people's lives.

also I still have some people to take revenge on.

On a personal note, my death is my revenge.

Some people simply do not want to continue existing or are in a far worse situation that causes them daily strife. People kill themselves because they are pushed far pat their breaking point and some genuinely have no out.

I'd rather suffer for the rest of my life than hurt those around me by messing up in any way and not acting "healthy". That being said, while I am still not happy, I feel so much better now than I did for the majority of my life so I can't actually speak for when things get unbearable, again. I hope they won't. If they start getting really bad, I will try to get help.
I should be getting help right now but oh well.

Sitting around playing video games is not a satisfying existence for everyone.

I mean I would. But it's not as simple as that. One needs money to survive, you have to get out, to work.

If I could, I'd end it right now with absolutely 0 hesitation whatsoever. I really wish I could. But I would put my family in a LOT of crippling debt if I did so, so I at least want to end things cleanly with no financial burdens caused by me. Just 2 more years left until the car note under my dad's name and credit is fully paid off.

All of my investments and any last dollar to my name would go to my brother as my sole beneficiary. I would give him a headstart on retirement, and he could use the money to help build his future family. I just hope he'll eventually understand and come to terms with things when I do finally leave.

It hurts to know I will be leaving some loved ones behind. It is a very bittersweet feeling. The pain of existence is just too much for me to bear unfortunately. I just wish I didn't exist as me.
