And what exactly do you feel when you drop? Do you feel like your head gonna explode and eyes pop out or some sensations on hands, the vision. Or do you just feel the rope tightening and not being able to breath and that's it?
One time I felt the blood rushing feeling in my head but every other time it was just incredibly tight and struggling to breathe, thankfully no eye popping feeling but like I would be chocking to death for the next 15-30 minutes it would take to die since passing out wasn't happening

Can you make the thing I said with self-constricting knot on the other end passing rod-like object into it and then pulling with that object down with as much strength as you can?

I didn't really understand the set up for it, like how to make it. Would you be able to show a photo of what you mean?

Yeah of course. It will be something like this, It's noose knot on the right and another noose knot on the left through which I passed a rod and pulled it down as strongly as I could, the noose knot tightens itself on that rod and it becomes like part of the rope that makes it easier to pull. I was sitting on a chair while doing this

Yeah still no passing out, it tightens all the way around mainly putting pressure directly on my trachea which causes the most pain and the body starts trying to cough, I was thinking of adding padding on the sides of the neck where the artery should be so maybe it would tighten there more and faster and it may be more effective but I've seen so many lists say not to add padding besides a thin cloth to avoid a rope burn

Maybe instead of putting the rope on the level where you feel the pulse you need to put it as high on the neck as possible to not press on trachea?

I tried again nudging it a bit higher since it is a bit difficult for me to get it higher and it did hurt the trachea less, less coughing feeling for sure. Breathless and no passing out feeling but better in that sense with the rod. Hoping when I go for it if i put it higher like that it will work to passing out, worried it still won't but hey the pain issue is almost gone just a bit uncomfortable, thanks. Everyone said put it where the pulse is so I made sure the sides were where I felt my pulse but I guess not

It's great that the pain decreased, I actually didn't even try to find the pulse I just straight up made it as high as possible and it worked

Tested in what sense?
Just tried again and immediately coughed and started choking with the rope up high, fully went into fsh though no partial, not really painful but immediately coughed and went back on the chair, had the rope under the jaw too idk why I coughed, maybe si, idk how to fix it but I fully got into fsh for once. Idk what to do to stop the chocking feeling, I can only step down if I hold the rope with both hands to kind of lift myself with my arms, I saw a video where someone did that and then passed out so arms fell, hoping that will be what happens. Granted I only did a few seconds due to coughing and si but i'm worried I won't pass out

Idk maybe the knot was too high? Like on the back of the head. I think in such cases you need to test things to see what you did different from the other attempt

I did it it higher like we discussed after getting the thicker rope :/ the videos online make it look so simple and easy and there isn't much neck I wonder why I'm having so much trouble getting that sleeping feeling

I don't know you must have done something different from the attempt before
Yeah idk, the only difference was actually doing the fsh with both feet off the chair instead of just trying with stick while sitting on chair, scared to try full again and choke, I got both feet off the chair for once and want to pass out quick but it didn't happen, albeit was two seconds before I coughed and stood up.

I don't know maybe you should try some more of the practice with rod to see what made you cough. Try it in different positions different levels on the neck and on the back to see what could be the reason.

I'm so sick of practicing I wish the next attempt will be it, so many videos of people doing it seems unplanned and they succeed I want the next attempt to be the one :( sorry for ranting I just really want it all to be over

I get that feeling. Maybe those people were just lucky to have that feeling of sleep, many people are like you struggling to get that. I hope all people will eventually find the way of doing it right and find their peace

Thank you, do you have any other tips based on your practice with how you positioned it to get that sleep feeling? It seems like you never choked

I'm not practicing yet but I want to say that you can test your rope not breaking using the same technique with rod inside noose hanging with your hands on that rod with your full body weight acting on the rope

I don't think my rope will break, I had to shorten it as it did stretch a bit where my feet almost hit the floor but I think my set up is good. The knots didn't come undone, I hope everything else is good since I did full hang for a bit and it was fine. If i get myself to pass out and hang successfully and it snaps I know where I'd retry but it would be more public and I'd be found so it would have to work fast before anyone can see so I hope it works inside where I have it now, after yesterday's attempt I was no longer scared of stepping down as I held the rope with both hands similar to another video I saw, hoping the fear will not come back when I try again and will pass out with no choking

OK, also i would suggest making double overhand stopper instead of overhand stopper cause it's more bulky and generally better. I will practice in an hour or so

For which part? I used a bowline knot for my anchor point and an arbor knot for the noose

I am using noose knot + double overhand stopper on the free end of it for the noose (arbor knot is the same just with overhand stopper which is worse in my opinion), also for anchor point i'm using buntline hitch it doesn't even need a stopper and is good for making you as high as possible when you hang

I didn't have a stop for the anchor point it just didn't move with all of my tests, do you recommend I change my arbor knot to just noose and change the stopper to double overhand stopper?

Yeah for the noose it's better to have double overhand stopper on the free end tied directly after the main knot. I'm tying the double overhand stopper first, tightening it as much as I can and then make the noose knot pushing the free end back as much as i can until the stopper hits the main knot and the tighten it. (Sorry mistakenly read arbor knot as anchor knot I always confuse them)
