Hi everyone,
I need some advice on a hanging setup. I want to make sure this method works 100% because I don't want to end up in a vegetative state.
Here are the details of what I have:
My Question: Do you think this setup will work? I'm going to test it beforehand. If this isn't safe enough, I'm open to buying a thicker rope (I read 12mm might be better).
Once the rope is confirmed: My plan is to get on a bench, push myself up, and wait. What medications/methods do you recommend taking beforehand to minimize pain? I will be alone at home.
Thank you all in advance for reading this!

Here are the details of what I have:
- My current rope (attached file): 8mm (approx. 5/16") diameter, 15 meters (approx. 50 ft) long, polypropylene (diamond braid rope).
- Manufacturer weight limit: 33 kg (approx. 73 lbs) working load.
- My weight: 70 - 80 kg (155 - 175 lbs) to have a safety cushion.
- The hanging distance: Around 1 to 2 meters (approx. 3.3 to 6.5 ft) to have a safety cushion
