This community helped me see life and death!

Since I'm here, I've bought SN, I've tested SN, I've been in the hospital, I've been isolated and at the worst momento of my life. I literally been to hell! But since I've been here I've learned about life and death. And about dignity! I learned about respect and about compassion! I owe a lot to this community! When many "pro-lifers" say that talking is necessary, they don't know what they're talking about, or they don't know the essence of "talk", we need to be honest with ourselves and with the same people, we need to listen to the pain , we need to FEEL other people's pain, in order to understand the meaning of life and death!
Life and death boils down to: choices, dignity, empathy and love! I found it all here! And it was through this community that I was able to see my future and my options. Thanks!

It is nice having a safe place for like minded people without risk of hospitalization, judgement and the third degree. Most navigate here due to being dealt a bad hand of cards that they can't seem to escape. It's all about your right to choose what's best for you and I think that makes a lot of people who most likely never had a chance in life to choose what they want for themselves happy and safe!

Yea!!!! Basically that's about it! Life is about choices and I learned more about choices and love here than anywhere else! I had love and support from people who were suffering like me, who were in bad times like I was, but who perfectly understood my doubts and insecurities. And NEVER, NONE of these people told me what to do! They all said that whatever I chose, they would be by my side and that what mattered most was what was best for me! If this isn't love in its purest and most honest form, I really don't know what love is.

The people on here are definitely great. I don't get nearly as much support and advice by actual mental healthcare workers and family than by people on here. I think being on here has definitely kept me alive much longer than I would have been without this site. I'm so glad you found this community and feel welcomed:) I wish you nothing but peace and serenity<3

I'm pleased for you that this website has helped you. I do think that it can be beneficial for people to have somewhere where they can be open about wanting to die. Suicide is so stigmatised and I do wish that we lived in a world where our right to die is respected. After all, we will all die eventually someday and there is nothing wrong with someone choosing to leave, so of course suicide should always be accepted as an option. I wish you relief from suffering.

'Respected', I just wish it was sanctioned by all the states, where you don't need to be terminally ill, where Depression is enough to justify it, where you could just walk into a 'suicide clinic', and then drink N in front of qualified doctors so nothing goes wrong
