• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Seeing that other people have and are going through more complicated situations in life than mine puts things in perspective and I stop feeling so bad about my life.
So sometimes when I'm at my saddest I watch the news, for example, and it helps me.
Does this make me a bad person?

Same. As I said before, the day Kobe Bryant died I was deep in depression, thinking that I should kill myself. I had just got off work😥😣and turned on the car radio. When I heard the news,I immediately felt better. Sorry.😉😉

Of course it does not make you a bad person, there is nothing wrong with feeling like that. I am horrified by all the suffering in this world, and I hate my existence, but in a way I am grateful that I do not have it as bad as others, my life could easily be a lot worse. In this life there is no limit as to how bad things can get.

It is good to know that I am not the only one who feels this way. And now, how is your life?

Same. And it's really true, just when you think your life can't get any worse life sends you the middle fingerand something happens to make things even worse.

I get this feed from People magazine And the headlines are always about a mom murdering her kids or something like that and I realize it's aimed at An audience of miserable people who only feel better reading about the misery of others… Schadenfreude…

Good lord no, it makes you human. It pulls you out of yourself, I'm guessing, and offers a different perspective. I know it helps me to do that. It's not that I'm in any way happy for others' suffering, it's more of a solidarity thing, I suppose.

I'm glad to hear that. It is the best thing to do, to take it day by day and when even that is difficult to take morning by morning and etc. I'll check out! I have probably seen it, but I don't remember. Anyway, I hope things continue to improve for you :)

Perhaps I have expressed myself badly. I don't wish harm on anyone and I help people whenever I can. What I meant was that seeing other people with problems far greater than mine puts things in perspective for me and I realize that my problems may even have a solution.

Exactly. That's what I mean to say. I don't want people to misunderstand me. It's as if it shows that our lives are not as bad as we think and that we can turn things around.
