Yeah, I hate the rat race of life. Money truly is the root of all evil. It's just a game that I don't want to play anymore.
This is often misquoted it is the LOVE of money that is the root of evil. Lusting over it. People have always been greedy however in the last 50 years the greed has exploded to no limits and people are in LOVE with money.Yeah, greed is the underlying root of the problem. Money and resources are where it manifests itself. Its semantics really. Relevant for specificity though. Unfortunately people are selfish and heartless in their attempts to solidify more than their stake in thriving or surviving. It really rears it's head in times of low resources, rare coveted items and economic crisis. Everyone all lovey dovey on the surface until you yell "there's no bog roll" and then they're fighting in the isles.

That is just the way that people are, I guess. Many people are very selfish and only care about what directly affects themselves.Duh. Without money you're homeless, money is very important since shelter, clean food, clean water and security is granted via money.
Hell, with money you can even kill yourself painlessly since you can buy N or purchase a ticket to a country with very relaxed gun-lawsLast edited:

You have my sympathy. Since we're told we live in a free world so often I think to myself that if we're really free then why do we have to pay money to live? I look at animals and they seem much more content doing things that have intrinsic purpose. Maybe humanity will move beyond this mindset but I doubt that will happen for at least a hundred years.
