Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

ive seen that people have different ways of committing suicide, but there are some that, unfortunately, involve third parties. for example, lets say throwing yourself in front of a train driven by an innocent engineer with hundreds of people on board. do you feel any compassion for these strangers? do you not care what happens to them and only care about your own death? i ask because ive seen that many people advise against such methods where other people are involved, since its brutal and shows a lack of humanity or empathy.
but in my CTB method, unfortunately, other people would be involved, but i have no other way. i dont want another way; this one seems perfect to me. but i also dont want to be seen as a cruel person who destroyed someone else's life. although, on the one hand, once i die, i wont care about any of it

Yes and no like I've attempted FSH multiple times around others and they have found me yeah I feel so sort of guilt but it's not enough to stop me from CTB that's all I want and it's only temporary I must continue until I achieve death and to ensure my own peace finally happens like even people who don't CTB but die by other means it will hurt another human and leave a mark that's what death brings regardless I won't be here to see any of that so it's not worth caring about anymore

I don't see how it could matter as we are all just going to cease existing anyway and it's a personal decision rather than about other people. It truly is the most horrific world where humans have made it illegal to cease existing painlessly, it's such terrible extreme cruelty how the only options people have to cease existing is to resort to such brutal methods, it's criminal to me how peaceful, guaranteed ways to cease existing with no more pain and no more torture are made inaccessible, I see so much evil in anti-suicide, all that anti-suicide does is just cause way more suffering in this existence so torturous and cruel that just never should had been imposed at all.

I imagine all suicides will involve third parties to some extent. Even those performed in a clinic- people will be there seeing someone die. They are at least expecting it there I suppose though.

But- all of us will presumably be seen by first responders, pathologists etc. The mess we leave behind will need to be cleaned up by someone.

It does concern me. To the extent that I would try to avoid a method that involves others or that is public. I'll also try to make the finding and removal of my corpse easier.

That said- I also value my own comfort while dying. And I mostly need to try to ensure my attempt is successful. So- it's more like I consider them slightly after me.

While I do feel bad for those left to deal with the mess- I also feel like the blame is on our society. I imagine many of us would opt to die at a clinic- reliably and out of sight- if we only had that choice. By limiting us so much in how we are able to leave- to some extent- society brings these gruesome deaths on itself.

I suppose I also think that planning a suicide in detail- so that it causes the least upheaval possible to others really should dispel the myth that suicide is some impulsive, selfish act. It can absolutely be one that has been thought through in immense detail with as much consideration for others as possible.
