No not the movie, but I wanna see it sometime. Anyway, I can't do anything normally, it's just impossible for me I guess. Whatever I do or start doing, it always becomes extreme/ obsessive in a way. For example working out, I literally put that above everything else (rlly everything) for a while. I sometimes worked out for 5 hours without a break. Now it's gotten better, but it still feels more like sth I force myself to do than a hobby or a leisure activity ig. Another example is cleanliness, I'm obsessed with everything being clean and orderly, I literally spiral when it's not, that's not normal. I could go on, there's a bunch of examples. Idk, I wish I could just do things normally.
Does anybody else do the same or sth similar?

I understand the obsession with working out. For example, when I couldn't do even a single pull-up, I would spend two hours every other day doing different exercises just to learn how to do one.
I can also relate to the obsession with things being clean and orderly to some extent. I have a certain idea of how things should be arranged, and it annoys me when they're scattered around.
I've also had periods of being obsessed with different topics—philosophy, Dota, and other things. When something really grabs my interest, I can spend all my free time on it and learn absolutely everything I can about it.

That's how I've been feeling lately. Depression has gotten so bad that unless there's something motivating me to move I can't get up. And when something does motivate me I do it like a crack head because I know the minute that motivation fades I'll be down on my ass again immobilized by the thoughts.

Making plushies have been mine. I wake up at 6 am and can't pull myself away until I pass out from exhaustion around midnight.

Im sorry you're feeling similar, it's exhausting I know. I think it's very cool that you can make plushies though

Yeah I think it has sth to do with hyper focusing on the few things left, which you think you can control, your body for example (to a certain extent). Well in my case at least I think that's part of it. Also yeah ofc, frustration from not being able to do sth at first can also be a motivator

True, I guess there are worse things to be obsessed with
