Discussion If you could create your ideal life, would you choose to be born?

I would be living a great life right now if I was born the correct gender and without a full list of mental disabilities. But even with that, I would rather not live at all, non-existence is ideal for me.

Probably. I think a lot of factors in being satisfied with living are up to chance. Being able to create the so called 'ideal life' would put those factors under your control. Sometimes we just got the short end of the stick…

Non-existence seems quite appealing as well and I could go either way. Or maybe I'm still blindly hoping haha

if I had a truly ideal life i wouldn't be unhappy with my life so yeah, of course i would.

i think changing the time of my birth would already change a lot. i was told that the stress level of a commoner in today's world would be the same as a paranoiac person in the 50's. idk if this very fact is true but from what i read it seems everything's going worse with time. Being born 60 years ago would probably solve a lot of my problems so i'd just change that
