• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

It's obvious why countries/societies around the world push the whole "life is a gift" shtick, they need their servants to work and make the rich bastards/corporations richer. That's the real reason why nearly every country does everything in their power to stop suicide methods and try to contain it like some sort of disease. Not because they actually value human life. Over 7 billion people are competing for 15% (shrinking by the day) of the world's wealth and resources, a large chunk are GUARANTEED to lose out in the rat race. So we already know many people aren't living their best quality of life all because of human greed. Even if you want to argue material possessions aren't everything, loneliness (now considered a global epidemic) and suicidal rates is on a steady rise. They are all connected, people who don't have the money are more likely to stay at home or work multiple jobs and not have the time to make new relationships/develop existing connections. So physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing are all going south globally.

Then there's the individual pro-lifer, when I ask them this simple question: "Did I ask to be born?" They always answer, "No, you didn't." Ok, then why the fuck can't I choose to exit on my own damn terms then? Then I'm met with every variation of "but life is a gift!" or "It's a permanent solution to a temporary problem!" Not every problem is temporary, did you people know that chronic, lifelong illnesses and physical disabilities exist? 😮 So a permanent solution to a permanent problem is a GOOD thing. Even if the problems are temporary, it's still none of your damn business what people do with THEIR LIVES. If a stranger on the internet was gifted a scarf and they said they don't wear it because they never asked for it and don't like it, would most people care? No. So if someone says they want to throw away the "gift" of life because they never asked for it and are not having a good time. Why does it suddenly matter? And no, it's not selfish. Selfish is wanting a person to exist and suffer just to keep you happy. Non-existence is literally the most peaceful place to be, where you don't have to worry about fulfilling any needs, wants, or obligations. Just because there are people who enjoy life aka have all their voids filled, doesn't mean everybody else has the same opportunities. A large part of it, if not all of it is based on luck when you live in chaos after all. Accidents and misfortunes also happen, meaning there is no guarantee someone stays joyful for the rest of their lives.

Not to mention, a person dying of their own free will alleviates not only their own suffering but benefits others who are living as well; that's one less person to feed/compete with for wealth, lowers the carbon footprint, one less person to compete with to find love etc. Yes, just living and breathing causes suffering to others. So while most suicidal people just want the pain to end, there are still benefits for the ones alive. However, suicide should neither be encouraged or shunned, just accepted like it should have always been on Day 1! Even apathy towards suicide is infinitely better than the pro-life garbage pushed by the rich elites onto tv screens and schools.

I think pro-lifers just have this crab-in-the-bucket mentality personally, they know this Earth is a living Hell and just want others to rot with them. If you think life is truly a gift, then go live it and leave us suicidal/vulnerable people alone. There are people out there, who are living in poor conditions but still want to live, why don't you go help them? Too much effort apparently.

To appreciate peace or the absence of needs, wants, or obligations, you have to exist. You need to be conscious.

No need for one thing nor the other if there happens there is no consciousness in the first place. The parent of all horrors, consciousness.
