Like it says, I had 3 great days last week, so of course I am more depressed than ever, it seems. I've stayed away from here this week, mostly, so I didn't think of my sn. I have a dog and she wouldn't be able to go to any family and the friend who agreed to take her hates other animals. I don't want her to live in the backyard bc she doesn't get along with her 3 or 4 indoor cats. So I have to keep posting on. She was a stray for we don't know how long, but she was underweight when I got her in February. She's only 2 years old. She had a hard time as a puppy bc she, I can't remember what you call it... Yammering?... Where she licks everything, including me many times a day. She's like OCD abt it... I'm not being flip or disrespectful.

Anyway, I think I'm ok enough to be here now. I'm actually breathing easier being here now. I appreciate all of you except the pro lifers

That must be what is called. Some woman in my complex said it was yammering. I honestly thought she must be right bc I thought pica was eating something, but that makes sense bc of they ate things, they'd never not be sick. Thank you

theyre not technically wrong. licking at fabric can cause the threads to let go so they end up licking holes into things. and ingesting it

Oh great. I had my couch bought with stimulus money. It was made to order. I got it in December.

theres things you can do to prevent it. clean it often. spray it with an, unpleasant to the pet, smell. i have some of those smelly oils (i struggle with words), i let my cat smell them and waited for a reaction that said "ew i dont like this one" then put a couple drops in some water and a clean spray bottle. just make sure you do a bit of reading to make sure its not harmful or the certain smells youre using wont hurt them. you would probably even run across a list of suggested smells

I'm sorry that things got worse, this life is just so disappointing. It does seem as though if there is anything positive to happen in life it would just lead to more suffering when that thing is taken away. I wish you the best.
