I dont want to live anymore.
I turn in a couple of 24 months and i have nothing to show for it.
My life is over .
It is never going to get better.

Ho boy do I feel ya. Turning 25 in 8 months and I really don't want to see that day.
It's a pretty crap feeling to look at all the potential years ahead and see nothing. Like suddenly reaching the edge of a very steep cliff with nothing past it, only an abyss below.

I often make the suggestion that someone who lived a monk-life existence wouldn't suffer as much, simply because there would be no other expectations other than doing your basic duties and meditating.

But such an identity transformation is difficult to accomplish, especially if it's not the life you originally wanted for yourself.

I'm sorry. But you aren't alone. I will turn 24 in March but I've a life experience of someone in middle school. All I want is just to die.

sorry for your pain guys but take it from me ( an old man of 57) you haven't run out of options in your twenties. I guess the first thing is to say screw expectations. Don't get into the trap of comparing yourself to others. Who says you have to have a house/career/marriage or whatever by the time you're 25 .. or by any age come to that?

Yeah I have other options, other hellish jobs in retail where I'm run ragged and treated like shit, or homelessness. I've realised that my life is never going to g anywhere and I dont want to go through 50-60 someodd years of this in this world with how awful things are. I know I'll never be able to retire. The world's gone to hell in a handbasket (not just because of covid)
