Fentanyl overdose - good idea or not?

I have never used fentanyl before. Closest I've come is prescription opiods after getting jaw surgery, muscle relaxers, xanax, and a bit of lean but not even enough to really feel anything, just wanted to cross it off the bucket list. So I would have to ask around in order to find it but that's doable. However what I want to know is if fentanyl overdose would be a peaceful/comfortable death? I've read posts from people who were overdosing, almost died, and were narcan'd back to life and they all pretty much describe it as peaceful and painless and not scary, often at least somewhat enjoyable as well. I want to know if that's true, I would hate for it to not be and end up feeling myself slowly suffocate or something. Viable method of ctb?

You would lose consciousness way before you can feel "suffocated", assuming you took a high dose.

It would probably be somewhat peaceful. It's ridiculously deadly, so you could reasonably take a dose large enough that it would kill you before you felt any negative symptoms. If you've done Xanax or lean, that gives you a good idea of what fentanyl would feel like. Opioids are done recreationally all the time, after all.
