Do you think the universe is cyclic? I’m terrified of that

I really need to CTB I can't keep dragging all this torturous existence out of mistakes socially with the guys I made mistakes with. That said do you think the universe is cyclic meaning again we will morph into being?

Consider a string of integers - 1739822781902. You might have an infinite string of integers but this exact sequence found in it only one time. But you may get arbitrarily close to it - 1739822781901(1)).
You might experience every possible branch of your life, not just this one.

This is something that worries me, I wouldn't mind being in a new body but to have to live this life over and over again sounds like torture, but at the end of the day it's just a theory and there's so many other plausible theories, or the universe will just eventually die and there will be nothing left. Either way we'll never know so that makes me feel better.

If it was you wouldn't know about it and so it doesn't matter. As if it was there would be no reason to think this is your first time around the block and no one outside of crackpots trying to sell you something and those manipulated by them can recall any past lives or experiences.
Why would it be the same "you" that exists right now experiencing something else? Even if there was an exact clone of you made of the same matter there would be no connection between you and that clone, and no experience of its experiences, because you are different physical beings.

Eh. We aren't talking about a clone, A conspicuous thing wth its own continuity. We're talking about a universal cycle that includes everything in it. Yes, your experiences wouldn't be connected, but it seems likely your subjective continuity would be.
I get it. I just don't think it holds. A clone exists as an ontologically distinct entity. A cyclical universe is different. The effect is more likely to be anaesthesic from a first-person subjective experience.

This is mostly my view. Definitionally we can't know what comes next and there's no real reason to think it's more likely that (if there is a "next life") it'll be more positive or more negative. Thus there's no reason it should impact our decision making now.
No science points to the universe being cyclic. But even if it were, you have quadrillions of years, if not more until you have to go through life again. Your rest periods would be plenty to get ready for another go round.
I don't know if I even believe in time, I don't think the future or the past exist on a timeline so much as they exist above and below us, I can tell you the future right now and it wouldn't matter one bit because everything is in motion. Like I used to see things that just morphed and morphed and morphed, one moment it was almost like a person the next it was animal the next it was a face mouthing silent words. How is time different? Why are we so obsessed with measuring something that doesn't exist? Why so anxious? I'd say this is all but a flash of light but even that lends to the idea of time. Whatever this is, I don't think it's real, any one bit. It's just all in your head. If you stop caring, it ceases to exist.
No. Who we are now dies with us, as far as we know. But there is so much we don't know—we don't even yet know what consciousness is. I mean, everything in the universe is recycled, so can consciousness be recycled? I do think something happens after we croak, just don't know what.

i dont know , Karma theory makes sense to me , if everything was so random , the suffering goes unexplained . for some life is celebration for some life is misery . why
No, I just think that there is nothing after death. When we lose consciousness that is it for us, we are gone, we cease to exist. Death is freedom from all pain and suffering.

It definitely is cyclic, and has no beginning, and no end. Basically we can't comprehend ultimate reality as it seems comprised of contradictory states and processes. For example, we can't imagine either an infinite Universe nor an Universe that has a limit.
The best you can do is extrapolate from living organisms how the Universe is, since apparently everything in here is a fractal or holographic reflection of a bigger thing.
Its something beyond our control; not worth contemplating. I do believe in a cosmic cyclic evolution. I.came.from stardust and my carbon dust will be scattered into the soil where trees and plants will suck up my nutrients. But i will never be me again. Being ME is enough. I dont need to revisit my pain.
It's definitely something that has occupied my mind, the feeling of deja vu is far to prevalent in my life for me not to consider cyclic universe. I just hope I get the change to make improvements next time round.
