Conflicted between partial and sn

I've been back and forth and tested partial a few times. I'm in Canada and having a hard time finding SN. Also each day is getting harder and harder for me I legit feel like I'm losing my mind. My SI is still strong and I just feel like I need to find the right impulsive moment to do partial but I haven't gotten there yet. If I could find SN that could arrive quickly I could do my best to wait for it but I can't find any websites selling here in Canada

Of course the SI is difficult to overcome as we are programmed to survive after all. It really is awful when things keep on getting worse, life is so horrible. Whatever happens, I hope you find the peace you are looking for, I wish you the best.

There are a lot of posts about partial attempts failing on this site; of course there are also pretty many posts about SN attempts failing; it is not easy to come up with a reliable plan. I think both of these methods depend on doing a lot of research on them to improve chances.

I just chickened out from taking sn. I am so afraid of everything right now, from my future to dying from sn. I tried partial but to die i will have to go full suspension. I do not know how will i get through it but I will somehow.

I'm sorry :( that's the same conflicting feelings I'm having, SI is strong for both methods but I think I might be able to overcome it with SN whereas with partial or full you really have to push yourself and there's a lot of room for failure. Wishing you peace

Agreed. I think chances of failure or me not being able to overcome SI will be stronger with partial. I'm going to try to go through with SN once I get it. As long as I can keep it down and don't get interrupted there's pretty much no chance of failure it seems

Yeah i am very tormented right now. I failed so many times. I just need that one time in which i succeed, that is all.
I am really sad that it did not work. I just had feeling i would sabotage my attempt somehow. I won't try sn because it does not work for me. Every human is different and maybe for some sn does not work but hanging does. This site is a small fraction of suicidal people and all reports here are from sn, but sn can fail. I think most suicides are done by hanging so o think i will go for it. I have almost passed out last time so maybe full suspension will work. Only time will show. It is hard to overcome si but it can be done, otherwise we wouldn't have so many suicides. Attempts are always greater in number much grater. So i think i should not be sad because i failed. Next time will do it.

There is a reason entrepreneurs do not care about all their failures. They just need one of their projects to succeed. 20 failed companies or 100 does not matter, the one successful matters.

Your story really resonates with me. I feel I'm losing my mind too, being pushed to ctb before I'm ready. I hope you find a way out of your current predicament.

Sn can be pretty reloiable if you follow the protocol closely, but there is still a significant chance of it failing; with partial failures are frequent but with full the main risk of failure is someone finding you before it is done, usually due to noise, and pulling you down.

What do you consider significant? SN seems like it has a fairly high success rate. And pretty much a guaranteed one if you have a backup glass

It's hard to get an exact number- on the SN successes and failures thread at last count there were 60 successes and 16 failures for about an 80% success rate. Based on individual posts some people follow the protocol quite closely and something still goes wrong, and some people follow it less close and it seems to work based on the posts, so there is some individual variation. It seems that people who have failed attempts typically don't have lasting damage but often do go to hospitals. Based on quite a number of posts of failed attempts my guess is that an overall 80% success rate may be too high.l not sure. In the past couple of months there have been a fair number of posts of people saying drinking sn now and then days later saying that it didn't work and that they vomited. People usually don't drink a second glass after vomiting because it's so gross that you will most likely throw it right back up again.
