• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

She seems progressive. Someone should write to her or call her office if you live in her district.

That would be political suicide in the U.S.

There aren't many people progressive when it comes to suicide. It is probably one of the most feared and taboo topics in the world (sadly).

I doubt it. I think the only form of assisted dying most mainstream politicians would be open to is for imminent terminal illness (less than a few months left to live). Which is still considered a taboo to many politicians, as the majority many countries still do not have this provision.

To be fair though imminent death euthanasia being made legal would be a start big changes don't happen in one step. Look at gay marriage as an example, first step was legalising even being gay, which happened way before marriage was legal (obviously two very different, gay marriage compared to being able to ctb, things but you get what I mean). I know that the small steps to legalised suicide isn't helpful for most of us but with the things that start as a taboo that's the way it is annoyingly
