I wonder why you couldn't love me, even though it's pathetic to think I should force you to choose me.

I can imagine it must be painful being in that situation. Losing someone can be devastating and the pain can stay with us for the rest of our lives. If you love something, it is just something to lose and that is the sad reality of this life. I'm sorry you are in this situation. I wish you the best.

Because its a proven fact that nobody will love you unless you love yourself. And vice versa. Its a shitty downward spiral.
Even when i do have a good day its always brought down by someone you think loves you but just hates that theyll be sad if youre gone.
I can sit in my house without posting anything or calling anybody and maybe 1 person would call. But shes married and itll never be anything but just that. And she admitts it would hurt her more than it hurts me that im gone.
Life lovers are very selfish. Just as selfish as they may feel we are for not caring about their feelings of we ever ctb.
Its hard to isolate myself but im getting better at it. Ive deleted almost everyone on social media only my mothers close friends and people who are dead i kept. Nobody has tried to re add me cuz they just simply dont care.

Going through a terrible breakup myself so your post really resonates with me. I too ask why he couldn't love me or at least keep me in his life. He said he still cares about me but that he realized being with me made him unhappy.

I'm sorry you're struggling through that. I know that feeling of being rejected but still wanting that person to keep me around. I've thought about how it may have been an act of love on their part because they concluded that I would never heal if I stuck around and held on to false hope. Time alone brought me to that charitable outlook but I believe it was part of the explanation besides that person seeing me as superfluous.

I hope you get through this and find joyful feelings again.
