Where are you planning to die? I want to die in my apartment, which doesn't exist yet. I want to go to another country, where the salary is 10 times higher, to work for 5 years. Then I have enough for an apartment. I would like to die in the next year, but I have to endure, because then I will die in my mother's apartment, I don't want to scare my mother with my corpse.

Hotel for me. Paying for it on a NEET salary was an obstacle, but I've gotten enough COVID relief money from the government that I'm even thinking of trying to get some N too!

Home would be ideal but people I live with have said stuff like "how could you ever think of doing that to me?" so that scared me off. I don't want to bother or upset anyone more than I have to.

This is just me daydreaming but I hope I'm in a sound enough state to decorate the room a little bit when the day comes. Nothing big, just setting a more pleasant ambience for myself since I can't do it at home.

I'm still dealin with that pesky "guilt" stage so ideally after I buy a car I'll just drive out somewhere really serene and get the job done. That way the whole car can just be impounded and theres no bedroom that smells like rot and nothing to clean. The act of taking a trip to do it feels natural and positive. Biggest thing for me is I want to go out with dignity and peace in the final hour. Bonus points if I find a nice tree to die under or something

House price thing isn't usually a big deal depending on the jurisdiction. People generally don't ask about it so unless you end up in the media which most suicides don't it should be ok.

i actually did that when i first travelled to my favorite spot. (didn't work obviously). i had some package of money with me and a letter to the firemen/ambulance for what purpose it was.
