What keeps you going?

I'm lucky enough to not have to work but I might get a pt job so I don't feel like as much of a freeloader. I currently live as a neet, I have the usual interests but the main thing is I'm religious and a bit of a conspiracy nut and I'm into politics so I want to see how things look for my country in the near future and to a lesser extent I want to play a game that's supposed to come out in a year or two.

I don't really have much to look forward to, I dread the future really. For me, the thing that helps is knowing that whatever happens eventually we will die and it will all be over. I also look forward to sleep, which I see as a temporary break from existing. I do have my pet cat and I quite like being out in nature.

only thing that has kept me alive this long is guilt tbh. i may only have a few people in my life, but i do love them very much and i am afraid of the pain and trauma i will cause them that they will have to carry for the rest of their lives. but i will be leaving soon, living for others is too painful and it isn't enough to keep me going. other than that, i try keep my mind occupied at all times with a mixture of music, reading, youtube, sudoku puzzles lmao. thinking too much will send me spiralling pretty fast haha

The things that keeps me going are my writings and creative endeavors, I still have some passion and love for it left in me. I love the process of writing stories and creating new worlds, always energizes me. A part of me would wish to leave behind a legacy at the very least as well( even though at the end of the day we all become nothing but dust ) and so yeah, this is what keeps me going, the whole creative process of screenwriting( and filmmaking in general ) continues to intrigue me. When I look back, it was the desire to be creative that kept me going for so long. And it seems to continue to do so.

My Dog, The pure unconditional love of an animal is beautiful but when he is gone I feel like I wont want a pet that depends on me so I can ctb.
Also my parents, when they are gone I wont have any ties to this world.
