Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I had the feeling there are many acute suicidal people in the German community. I am not well connected in the community but there are barely any longterm members. Moreover, it is rather passive. There were some pro-mortalists. Some liked me and I liked them. But based on their own philosophy they wanted to end it.

There are a few German speaking suicide forums with less method knowledge. Maybe the one's who make it do this forum are more determined to go through with it and don't want to waste to much time with off-topic discussions (this is why they come here).

Maybe they are slightly more educated than people from native speaking countries on average because of the language barrier.
