I see a lot of people (myself included) saying that they believe they don't deserve happiness. So naturally, I started wondering: what exactly makes you deserving of happiness? Is it, as the pro-lifers say, something that should be common sense, (like when they say everybody deserves happiness)? Although they're the same people that say suicide is a tragedy, and we should have no right to dispose of ourselves as we see fit. I'm looking forward to what you guys think.

When you have depression you feel quite inferior, that's all, no one deserves to have a bad life

In my opinion, we all inherently deserve happiness. The goal of a person in their lifetime should be to try their best to keep themselves happy, at least it is for me. The issue comes with circumstance and of course, mental illness, which by nature leads to negative emotions and sadness.
