Nothing. Humans are selfish and we live in a cruel world ruled by money and power while there is evilness, hungry people and more and no one does nothing about it. This world is sick. Damn, are you me? Not having a family or any support is one of my biggest reasons for ctb. If my family members weren't abusive (disowned me) or dead, living would be much more feasible because I wouldn't be forced to fight for scraps on my own in a world that is severely unkind to disabled people.
Any romantic interest of mine has always had family they are ambivalent about and seek to be independent from. Men I've been with (and women) have never understood how terrible it feels to be without a family. My desire for one makes no sense to them because they take what they have for granted.
