So sorry this happened to you. So they actually knew what it was and what you intended to do with it ?
If possible maybe get a P.O. Box ? I'm not sure how that works. I've never had to do it.

I understand. Although I didn't buy my SN, I had already thought about the possibility of my family throwing it away. My mother doesn't give me the least privacy, she even throws out my cigarettes... If she finds SN, she throws me in the psychiatric ward. If you don't live alone, it is risky to ask for or have SN at home.
