Well i`m ready and my time is nearly here .

i`ve go a new date , before 3rd of September , i got rid of 20+ bin bags of clothes a while ago and left myself bare minimum with no winter gear , sold games consoles and tech stuff , got rid of all 95% of my possessions and my food cupboards have just had bare minimum , binned my dvd`s, players , tv`s etc and packed my year old 4k one up , bought storage boxes and labeled them as i`ve left my house , car and what`s left to my younger brother ,there will be nothing for him to sort just carry out .
tried selling my car and put it down in price a few times but it`s a bit of a specialist classic 25 years old that does 11mpg so no one wants it lol ,
If i dont come back on , as i haven't been on much lately , i thank you all for your input to this great community and hope you all find peace weather it be in recovery of what ever rout you take , good luck and take care , Love you all xx

I'm happy I'm not the only super organized CTBer here My apartment is pretty much packed up, just the minimum stuff I need for the next week or so. Got rid of some furniture. With COVID no one is visiting so it's been easy to pack without raising alarms. I have a list of items to help my siblings with my finances and other affairs. I want to make it very easy for them to navigate after I exit. I'm debating about my car too. Here in the US there are a few companies that come to your place, give you a check and take the car. But I want to keep until the very end in case I need it. It's a 2016 and in great shape. I've put in my note if someone in the family wants it they can have it.

My older brother died 18 months ago and i had to break in to his house and find him , so i know what a pain, literally and heart wrenchingly it is sorting stuff out . , thought i would make it simpler for younger brother . i have been sorting stuff out for over a year , even decorating and finishing off odd jobs , just to make my house more sellable lol . i`m 57 and was a bit of a hoarder , not in a messy way just had a lot of stuff especialy gadget stuff which i have sold a lot of , N64 , collection , Xbox one x , 80`s Video disc player and discs , and just binned all VHS , pc`s phones etc away . gave my 4 foot fish tank away too ...
My loft was like a who`s who of dead tech lol ,
I even made a new front fence and painted the front of the house for curb appeal lol

I can imagine how painful It would be to sort through a lost loved ones things, and clean it out. Thats a wonderful kindness on your part. It will save others a lot of extra suffering.

To be honest my car is one of the few things worrying me , it`s my super reliable straight 6 LWB rare Jag and should be worth a lot but they just aren't and i had stupid offers for it some idiot offered me £700 ! the private number plate is valued at £800 , i know i should have taken them but i want it to go to another enthusiast , i spent over £2k a couple of years ago having arches chopped out and replaced and i`m only asking £3k for it !! , i dont want it to just get abandoned to rot away , stupid i know , but i`ve had it 9 years as my everyday car and it get`s a lot of admiring looks , it was even voted in the top 12 jags 3 years running on the Official Jaguar Owners Club site and was in the years callender, it got embarrassing so i stopped entering it lol

wow you embarrass me I have known for 5 months that I will be doing ctb at the end of September and have not cleaned anything up yet. Somehow it wasn't that important to me, I just had my plan in mind. I would like to thank you for opening my eyes, that I should finally take care of it.
