too anxious to sleep, too tired to stay awake

i guess moments like this is when i feel the most lonely, all my friends are asleep, the sun will rise soon enough
i decided to stay awake all night because i just couldn't stand the idea of doing all the things i must do this saturday
and now i'm feeling a little guilty because i had to postpone it to the end of the day so i can catch up on a little sleep first
10mg of valium will knock me out for a while sure enough, but i still feel like a brat for not keeping up with my schedule with other people
it's hard realizing i'm barely functional

Being in this state of limbo is utterly exhausting.
I find it impossible to function when going through these periods of no sleep and anxiety.

indeed, a lot has happened and i'm trying to figure out which is harder, having nothing to deal at all or a lot of things happening all at once
for me, there seems to be no middle ground

Yes, it's either boredom or stress for me. It's almost impossible to find a good balance in life.
