Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

It's just a bit dumb, just because most humans like to use drugs, mandated drugs by the doctors too , alcohol or random casual sex; that doesn't mean that I want to and nor that it's my cure however I should have something else to replace it given that the reason I suffer now was not of my control and I was failed by many systems put into place by society, so it's not like I'm some hypocrite demanding the impossible.

But you do have something else to replace it! What's left is to just hug a tree , a bunny , a dog or a cat and get them as a companion which I would consider selfish for myself because I can still end my life and that companion is going to be left alone. There is also a prejudice for other animals as companions instead of the classic ones, why? I don't know.

Anyhow I wanted to say that both of these solutions (including having a kid) are more of solutions that I would expect of an animalistic mind (only humans can't see this is the case) to make instead of a human mind. Maybe if we actually made life into something better and live able , that would be a cure for some? Maybe if we made euthanasia more accessible? that would be a cure for some. Idk.

Yeah I can definitely agree with this, since not everyone is helped by these things and one of the most infuriating things I hear throughout my life is whenever a convo (just in general) goes south and people jump to "drugs and alcohol" or medication (in the case of doctors and what not), it immediately ends up in a circular loop, which is where the actual convo is no longer relevant and they just push and peddle these suggestions while ignoring the actual topic at hand. Though I digress..

I do agree that it is better to make life more tolerable at the very minimum, but failing that, then legalizing and expanding eligibility for euthanasia would be the kindest thing one could do other than guilt-tripping, or even pushing people who don't want to live to continue living (for the sake of others)..

I actually think it's irresponsible. I was kind of amazed once when a usually very clever and responsible friend pretty much suggested 'drowning my sorrows'. Given the sort of obsessive and easily tempted person I am, I thought that was terrible advice.

As it happens, I can enjoy alcohol as a nightcap to relax, without being tempted to drink to excess. I'm not so strong with unhealthy food though, unfortunately. That's my bigger weakness.
