I wanted to make a thread where those of us who are stuck waiting until July (hopefully) can talk about it if we want.
I know a lot of people were really stunned by the N shortage, and maybe it has even impacted or changed your plans for ctb.
I'm starting to put old ctb options back on the table that I had ruled out, due to impatience. Waiting is really hard for me and I'm wondering if anyone else is feeling the same.

I'm tentatively planning for July but I'm using sn. N is to expensive for me

Good idea.

I don't think there's any guarantee that N will be available again in July.

Even if it is there will probably be high demand.

I don't predict July. I predict July/August we'll get feedback about later availability and I think fall will be it.

I do have high hopes. I trust D to at least give an update.

I'm figuring late summer or early fall, at best. There will be a lot of backlog for regular orders, so I think it might take a while for D to get much of an inventory again.

I'm not planning on doing anything very soon anyway, but I have gone ahead and ordered some SN just to make myself feel better.

I also think there will be a backlog. I assume it's going to be a first come first served type of thing as people will still be contacting him for the first time in addition to people who follow up in late summer. It's all a waiting game.
(I would love to know if they use any sort of customer management systems/dashboards to manage this. Does he have a team of data entry people? Haha.)
Like others, I will also be purchasing sn as a backup option.

Apparently, D does have some supply now, though there is no telling how much. Noted in the "N fromd D Megathread", I think.

Well, I'm planning to CTB on July but using SN, because N is too expensive for me and I don't even know if D shipps to Poland. So I guess I'm in "July club" someway.

First of all, excuse my English, since I don't speak it very well. I'm clearly in this group too. very sorry for not ordering it sooner...
The inconvenience that I consider is about the temperature in my country and during transport. I don't want to give too much information but I live in a hot country, it can exceed 30 degrees perfectly and I'm worried that the N could be damaged along the way or in the short stay that I hope to have before taking it. Do you think it's a bad idea to order in the summer in this situation? Since, according to what I've seen on the forum, temperatures above 30 degrees are not recommended.
