i'm tired of the fear mongering that some people on this forum create around SN. a lot of you spread so much misinformation just to later on get fact-checked and invalidated. for example, the recent joe winko CTB video. i see people saying he threw up blood and burned his stomach lining, but he is seen drinking red wine before ingesting SN, if he was a member or lurker on here or did some research on the chemical that he chose to CTB on, he'd be aware that its highly advised NOT to consume any sort of alcohol before and after SN ingestion. and another one, the chinese CTB videos, someone on here was nice enough to dig up information and found out that the chinese community follows a completely different protocol, where they ingest 50g(!!!) in one sitting. the search engine is free. google is free. it's not hard to decipher goodbye threads and realize that a majority of them have no complaints and go very smoothly. SN is as peaceful of a method that we can get right now and it's still not good enough for some people. i too wish that we could drink a solution and slowly drift off peacefully, or that we can press some random button to make the pain go away. but it's not that simple. there is going to be slight discomfort especially when your body is shutting down. the moment SN becomes more regulated or worse - the youth poisoning protecting act gets passed, a lot of you will take it for granted. please think before you comment or make outrageous statements.

The main reason I haven't done it is the nausea. Frustrating that I could throw it all up and have to take more. AEs are more difficult to obtain and I've read a lot of posts that say that it doesn't help for some.

i'm really sorry, everyone's body is different. some people can tolerate nausea better than others, especially for a short period of time.

Full agree, hanging gets such a bad reputation, from "unbereable and excruciating pain" to "having to endure minutes" and so on... but it's been one of the most common methods in all human history for a reason. For sure there are some people that say that no method is ever good, which is great for them, they have the right to not act on any method or keep looking, but that does not help people in different circustances. Anxiety and fear does not help at all when planning/doing and it also makes more people go search for more obscure methods or become even more frustrated with everything.

Like many of you, I have fear and apprehension about CTB, mostly because of the many posts about unsuccessful attempts. The thought of failure and ending up in a worse situation has created a lot of anxiety, and it's distracting. I don't need that distraction as things in my life are getting worse and the only relief I will find will be ending my life.

It would be extremely helpful if people would stick to the facts so that those of us can exit in peace.

This is so so true. They've even taken meds used to euthanize animals so even vets can't get meds either. This world is pain. And I'm so sorry.

Cant give the capitalist slaves that kind of power people would off themselves instead of just take sick leave and return to work so they can make the elites more money.

In south africa the argument was because there are no funds to treat peoples illnesses they would get euthanized instead so the state/hospital can save a buck.

I understand corrupt people would abuse it but now people actually suffering get some of the shelf paracetamol fodr pain and told to go home. It's insanity. Sorry slight side tangent
