After researching for weeks on death by dehydration it seems as if it is rather a gentle way of dying, of course there is pain but there is a very minimal amount, ive tried this once but gave up because something great happened in my life but the "great" thing quickly faded, so im extremely suicidal again, but from experience i was on my 3rd day without water and i had little to no pain, i was just really tired, i could tell i was going to go unconscious soon but before i could i started chugging water, lets just say its a very doable to commit suicide, and also according to my research you usually pass out before you can feel any of the painful symptons of severe dehydration, i dont understand why people dont try and commit suicide this way more often, cause i mean its a forsure way to die and theres barely any pain at all, plus you eventunally pass out before you can feel any ACTUAL pain, i would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on suicide by dehydration, also i might try it again soon because i didnt have a bad experience with it the last time i tried

I've tried not eating and drinking, even went 3 months without a sip of water... but my body was getting water from showering and brushing my teeth. I was so close to death with BP of 70/30 , emacitated, and my family made me go to the hospital where they gave me an IV of fluids. It was very painful, my heart was crazy, I have other ailments to so it affected everything.. my experience was that i was going to have a heart attack before dying peacefully. But if you try it you can let others know how it feels.

Its not easy and not worth, your SI would kick in, plus the risk of affecting internal organs coz not every human body is same. And why would one suffer this way for long?

I thought about it multiple times but I personally want something quicker, where I can't back out too easily tbh

It's a very long and drawn out process, the urge to drink will be massively overwhelming. I've heard or read that if you can push past it its quite peaceful but I have my doubts on that. There are much quicker and easier ways. Pushing past the survival instinct is hard enough without needing to hold it off for maybe weeks.

Reminds me of a thread I saw weeks ago of someone who considered getting a cabin in the woods, chaining himself to the radiator or something, and throwing the key out of his reach until he dies from dehydration. Just seems like a miserable and lengthy process.

I am planning to do this one. I have decided to do it in a hot desert in summer season after gulping down a few prescription sleeping pills. Is this a good plan?
