Sn or gas?

They both seem complicated to get done. As in sources for either the sn or sources for gas.
Nitrogen would be nice, but I see plenty of helium sources. I've heard the issue with helium is the purity. It might not work.

As far as sn, I see sources everywhere, but not sure what's real.

A couple of questions. I can't find the sn megathread. How long is the sn method until the end? Like, how long unconscious?

And as far as gas, what the heck is calibration gas or whatever? Should it be avoided, or is that ok?

We had conversations about inert gases (helium nitrogen) severel times. Just use the search function. I would suggest to use an intert gas with diving equipment. Guide available.

Based on recent posts about someone getting brain and/or liver damage from a failed sn attempt, gas seems like a method with less risk, though it is more difficult to do and to get the materials for.

The complete equipment for the intert gas diving method is easy to obtain worldwide. Nobody in this forum had problems to find all things.

Calibration gas? don't know what that is---Helium is only 80% pure in the US, it won't work, but Nitrogen will, standard for selling filled Nitrogen tanks is 99% pure, some sell it at 99.8% pure

Well, I don't think it was for fun, but to see what it was like possibly, which some people do here. BUt this is the first I have heard of real possible lasting damage from sn from a failed attempt, so it is sscary, but important for so mnay considering this method. It shows if you are doing this to try to do everything right on the first try.

It's still my first choice method but some other oness, like certain gases, seem more peaceful and reliable if you can get them set up correctly.

That's what I'm afraid of.

I'd prefer gad by far, quick and easy. Just expensive and hard to set up, and hard to hide the tank etc until the time comes.

Sn seems so easy. I'm just looking for the total time. Don't want to be interrupted.
