So I was suggested by my office colleagues and room mates to grow beard. I did that. Today I had a video call with my sister . She got angry on me and talked very rudely to me. She said I was looking like a goon since I grew my beard, I was looking indecent. She was very angry. She said I looked unhygienic. She was yelling at me.
It hurt me a lot.

Hmm, I don't think your sister has any right to tell you how to dress or groom yourself. Especially since you're an adult. Typical controlling behavior. You need to tell her off firmly in these cases, otherwise they will never stop.

Is she much older than you? Has she always been like this?

Well yell back at her when she grows her beard!

I understand it hurt, but if she's so worried about how you live your life, maybe she should pay your bills or something.

What business is it of your sister if you grow a beard? Of anyone other than you?

These older sisters, man. Some of them are a handful. I have one much older than me. Just dominated me through my entire childhood. She beat me up when I was a kid. Well, we would fight each other as siblings do but then when my dad comes home she'd start crying magically(she was OK,till then 😂). And then I'd get beat up by my dad as well.

All through my life.

She is four years older than me.
Actually she did buy me a laptop, a bike and also occasionally she buys me clothes. Cooks my favourite stuff whenever I go to her home.

Okay, that's nice and I'm sure you appreciate her, but it's not reason enough to call you out for a choice about your body. She doesn't seem like a total ass so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and say she doesn't realize what she's doing, so calling her out and explaining yourself may help this situation.

I don't want to hurt her, also I feel intimidated by her.

You're the one being hurt here, but I understand the intimidated part. If she really loves you, she won't attack you when you confront her.

That is really problematic person, you know. That beard on your face has absolutely nothing to do with your sister—seriously, why is she making such a fuss? Honestly, I can't stand people like that. Has she even been the one taking care of you since you were little? You're growing a beard, choosing your look—all for yourself, not for her. In this situation, it's not your beard that's the issue from anyone perspective—it's her who's the problem. Damn, this is making me emotional too ...

About.... 3 / 4 years ago I was attending a meeting, and this one guy said something to the affect of... " What other people think about us is Absolutely none of our fckn business. " Which I agree with, but your sister went the extra mile and acted like a dumb cunt.

You deserve better than that, beard Or no beard. Try and ignore her if at all possible. -
