How do you guys self harm without leaving physical signs? I sometimes punch at the wall really hard, or starve myself for days (eating like half a meal a day), or barely drink water for days which causes painful ulcers in the mouth, or listen to extremely loud music causing raging tinnitus for days. I can't cut because i am afraid of getting caught/
I just compare myself to other people of my age with happy families, more money, a healthy life and so on and I just feel like shit.
Mental harm really hurts and makes your depression hellish.

My best way to do this is to lay down (preferably on bed) to slow down the heart beat. Then start breathing as fast as you can, take deep breaths and breath out even faster. The point of hyperventilation is to have more O2 in body than CO2. I think that's all.
I doesn't work for me but you can hold on an ice cube in your hand til the end or use an elastic band on your wrist to hurt yourself.
I do scratch (not until bleeding) myself under hot water and the bruises stay only 3-4 days and you have literally nothing after.
I also use to eat one meal a day waiting at the maximum I can when i want to punish myself for being so fat.
Or just looking at myself, looking at people round me and saying that i am disgustingly fat and don't deserve to live.
Sometimes, I also slap myself in the face but it is rare.
I did once with a coffee bottle on my cheek. But my ex from this time was not feeling good about it when we were walking together in the street because Ihad a bruises next to my eyes and people might have interpreted it as if he was hitting me....
