hello everyone! i am really fucked academically this time, and i am really considering kms tonight. i have questions before doing it:

1. does it hurt?
2. i saw videos where they struggle before staying still, are they conscious on that? do they feel pain and what is that phenomenon called?
3. not really a question but i am scared to do it

i am severely fucked. i tried 1 gram benadryl + trintellix combo 2 years ago and i failed (obviously). the time i tried that, i just threw up and got blurry vision for a week.

i only have these at my disposal:
- a 2M braided phone charger
- an extension wire

thank you for reading this! i hope you guys have a great night

the last straw that broke the camels back. my laptop got wet because it rained unexpectedly (im in the middle of working on a midterm project). i trusted that bag because it is a camping bag that was supposed to be water proof. lesson learned the hard way and i am really fucked and dumb.

I know there is a lot of pressure to succeed in schooling but really, it's not the end of the world. You won't fail. Will your mark be lower? Likely. But as I said, it's not the end of the world. We are all human and no one is perfect. Your academic success doesn't define who you are as an individual.

Are you facing unrealistic expectations from your parents to make you this worried about failure? Or is this something you've instilled upon yourself?

If worse comes to worst, you have the ability to retake that class should you fail. But failing a class is not a failure in life. Please take some time to consider your options before you resort to CTB. Schooling is minimal in the grand scheme of life, and it is always redeemable. This shouldn't be the end for you.

I can appreciate your feelings right now. We all have our reasons for feeling out of control and they don't have to make sense to others. I'm not trying to minimize or invalidate your feelings of despair. I hope you understand I'm coming from a place of empathy and concern for you. I think you owe it to yourself to see this term through so that you can see that this setback is not as catastrophic as you think it is in this moment.

Will you still feel the despair and hopelessness you feel now in a months time?

1. Full suspension hurts so so so bad. One of the Worst pains you will ever feel (in my experience)

2. Depends on the rope, placement of the rope, pressure on the neck, etc. If you have everything correct you will pass out in 10-20 seconds and die within 15 minutes. In those few seconds that you are conscious Your si will kick in and you WILL panic and attempt to save yourself due to your airway getting blocked and the immense pain you will feel.

3: Very valid feeling, prepare and know what you are getting into before you do it to minimize fear. Do a lot of research.

A phone charger will likely NOT hold your weight in full suspension. The extension wire is better but still somewhat risky since it has to withstand at least 2x your weight from all the flinging your body will do while unconscious. Try to see if it will hold your weight beforehand. You also need a good solid anchor that can hold 2x your weight.

Your ligature needs to tighten.
The rope/knot should be at the back of your head to completely compress the arteries. Most of those that struggle have the rope too far toward the front, missing an artery or two.
A good extenston cord will work, but rigging it up can be difficult.
