I get prescribed propranolol from my GP. SN seems difficult to obtain in the UK, but its combination with propranolol sounds reassuring. Does anyone have an idea of where a solely-propranolol exit might land on Nitschke's peacefulness-out-of-ten scale?

OD on beta blockers...i can't imagine it being nice you probably get pheriperal dysautonomia.
Uneducated guess would be a 4 or 3

Damn. It's looking like my only option without access to SN, thanks though. Why do they make this so difficult

I looked it up earlier today but I can't find all the threads I was reading. Try the search function.

About 400mg Propranolol should be mixed with Sodium Nitrite, instead of on taken on its own.

Does a lot of propranolol make you pass out? If yes maybe combine methods?

It will severely reduce racing heart and feelings of anxiety. It works well with benzos.

I found both a propranolol only and propranolol + alcohol OD to be really peaceful imo. However, obviously neither were lethal so I dont know how much you'd have to take. Seems like it'd need to be at least 2.5g.

It probably would affect everyone differently though so my experience may not be universal

I don't think this is a good idea because a dose that might be lethal for someone else may not be lethal for you. If you fail, you risk permanent heart problems since it's still a beta blocker.

I thought about using metoprolol so I looked into it a little and chose not to try it.

While it is up to each and every individual to chose their method, I personally, wouldn't risk a propranolol overdose either. It is, however, very good in lower doses for tachycardia and anxiety. This would help reduce survival instinct.

I agree, and you're completely right.
