Preparations

I'm off soon. I don't know why I avoided hanging all this time, it's so much easier than anything else.
Anyway, what preparations would you like to make before you go? Do you plan to pack up your possessions or perform some kind of ritual? Put on a specific outfit and some music, maybe? I planned on wearing the same dress I always wore to funerals, but fuck it, I'm going in my pajamas. I'd rather be comfortable.

I'm about as prepared as I'll ever be. I tried hanging before but had great difficulty finding the right spot to cause unconsciousness.

I don't really have the energy, once I'm gone the dusty shelves, dirty dishes, sticky floors and several HDDs of pirated content won't be my problem anymore.
And they can throw in the trash for all I care. Funerals... what a waste of time.

I will probably just write notes and maybe get rid of belongings. Before I leave this world, maybe I will reflect on everything that has happened to me and maybe listen to some music. There is not much that I will do really, I do not have the energy.

The only thing I'm worried about is my pet. I have someone in another state who is his unofficial Godmother- I've verbally told her that if something happens to me she will get him. I'm worried about my partner trying to keep him for some sentimental reason. Which I don't want. My partner doesn't properly care for the animals he already has, and my pet is an exotic that needs special care. I don't have money or time to make an actual will, how can I go about making it known (again) that I want my pet to go to his Godmom in another state? I obviously don't want to alert anyone to my plans. I do not want to be saved. I'm really poor and disabled and for that reason I may CTB at my house while my partner is at work. I may just leave a note on my pets cage saying that he needs to go to ____ house when I'm gone. I guess I could send her a delayed email notifying her to come get him too.
