PPH propranolol dosage makes me doubt them

I do not understand why they would suggest 2 grams of propranolol crushed and dissolved into the SN mixture. I have taken 3.6g of propranolol crushed up and mixed into a drink and it was completely unpalatable and left me with a painful, burning mouth and I immediately vomitted. It is not meant to be crushed and is insanely bitter (worse than xanax). I'm not worried about the taste of SN. I know it might make me gag or vomit so it's not about taste but the burning sensation. I know it is not essential anyway but it kind of makes me doubt everything they say about peaceful suicide if they make it seem like 2 grams of that is going to be easy to drink.

Exactly. I'm prescribed 20mg for anxiety. Even your dosage would make me pass out. That is a huge overdose in itself which I guess may only help you CTB and if you take it at the same time as SN wouldn't matter but as far as drinking that. It would only make you more likely to fail and vomit.

I still have no idea why they suggest such a high dose. It seems like that alone has potential to be its own CTB method , so the best I could think of is that it's almost like a double whammy, together they will def end your life even if you were to throw up. But I agree that it could also add to the potential of making you throw up in the first place, so bottom line, I really don't know and I hate how he doesn't explain it. I was planning on just taking maybe 3-4x the regular dose , between 200-500 mgs, have to read about it more though.

If I remember correctly, the propranolol dosage after a heart attack is only 360mg. 2g is very excessive. And yes it tastes like absolute shit. No thanks

My pills are extended release. If I take any, instead of grinding them up, I'll just take a few extra doses enough ahead of time that they'll have kicked in.
