I want to try death by dehydration but can't figure if it is bearable, so I'm comparing with other known pains as a reference. It takes 12 to 18 days to die by dehydration + starvation. Source: Hunger strike of LTTE thileepan.
AI says dehydration becomes painless in late stages, but initial and middle stages seem to be very painful. So guys please help me find out if it is possible to pull off dehydration death.
Additional factors favoring my dehydration death: I have cognitive disabilities, so if my parents died, I will be left in streets, even if they give me loads of money, I don't know how to survive. Hotels ain't gonna give me food for free, but I might start begging for water when I'm left in the streets.
Most importantly, I want it to be bearable

If you want bearable, I heavily doubt any of those (non)methods will give you that. They're all unrealistic, unpredictable or something your SI would interrupt.

these are all pretty painful and like the other person said, unpredictable. a lot of them you can get caught easily and difficult to achieve.

I watched a documentary about suicide in older people once. A woman who was otherwise healthy wanted to end her life by terminal fasting. She did it for 3 (!) months before she gave up. Her body got so weak that she lost her ability to walk and had to use a wheelchair.

The reason she didn't die was that she sprayed her mouth with water from time to time, otherwise she wouldn't have been able to talk. Mind you, that was the only water she ingested but it kept her alive for THREE MONTHS.

After seeing that, I decided that terminal fasting is not an option unless I'm already dying from something else.

there was young guy here who posted his story. from him it was around 2.5 months, he just went to the store and passed out so he could live to tell the tale.
