Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

How many people here are over 40 living alone and struggling with physical pain, illness and disabilities? I am 56, I have MS and many other illnesses. I'm in terrible chronic pain bedridden, wheelchair bound. I can't sit up, stand, or walk for more then a few minutes.

I fit the category, mostly. While I do have some physical pain, it isn't that bad. Most of my pain is that of the mental. Loneliness would probably be the biggest pain of all. I do not think they have a pill for that one, but I will check Amazon just in case...

There are people here with physical pain, physical illness and disabilities, but I think that most young people with psychiatric diagnoses are sitting in front of the computer writing about suicide. However, these people will feel even worse when they are old with physical illness and age-related ailments.

Your situation sounds so similar to my own (except for that I'm only 25). Motor neuron disease of any kind is pure torture. I feel your pain, every day.

I'm 46 with chronic pain and disability and basically on my own aside from my partner who I really don't think gives 2 shits about me. It really is a nightmare being in chronic pain. . I just wish so bad we could all just be healthy but I know that's not realistic. I'm so sorry you have to deal with chronic illness too Its so unfair and this world is so unfair. I hate that human bodies are so damn frail and once they are damaged they are truly a prison cell.

I'm so sorry for all of us that are suffering. May we unite as one to support each other and hold on to each other even if it's only on this forum I love you.

I am so sorry you are suffering as well. Chronic pain is a layer of hell most people are blissfully unaware of until their twilight years. Few can understand the nightmare that is enduring years upon decades of unrelenting illness. I have been sick since I was around 17, and it seems to get worse with time.
I am only 22 and suffer from permanently distorted blurred vision, chronic pain in my legs, feet, back, head, stomach, and hands, horrible IBS, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic low grade fevers, brain fog, raynaud's syndrome, and tmj. I do not receive any pain relief for any of these dehabilitating conditions.
I wish none of us had to experience our bodies torturing us. Even as I'm typing this, there's a stabbing, hellfire sort of pain behind my eyes and it makes me want to scream.

yes chronic pain from car accident, then long covid, then medical error that caused csf leak and adhesivee arachnodotis. I fought hard for many years. If I was free of pain, life would be beautiful. but alas, I got dealt one of the worse possible hands of all time.
