It's hard as you cannot foresee what will happen due to you CTBing

I worry my mum will drink herself to death. I worry the pain I feel now won't compare to theirs.

But if I wait and then they are elderly will it be worse for them?

I don't know what to do.

But also I cannot handle the thought of them dying so I'd rather go before them. It's so selfish I know.

Does anyone's parents are like this?
One moment she/he wants to be close with you and the very next moment she/he talks bad about you or guilt trip you for things like not doing certain thing for them?
