so like i started trying to diet a few months ago because i hate my body and i hate being overweight and it went ok but was kinda slow and it just kinda progressed to the point now where i only eat like 600-700 calories a day and like i try to get micronutrients and stuff in with meal replacement shakes but alot of the time i end up eating something which means i dont have enough calories left for my shakes, plus i kinda try to stay under my protein goal because i wanna lose muscle.
the worst deficiencies are probably protein and electrolytes, if i dont remember to take electrolyte supplements i start getting cramps everywhere and sometimes heart palpitations. the lack of protein means my muscles hurt from like everything now. my shoulders and neck hurt from using my pc for like 2 hours, my tailbone hurts from sitting down for too long, my shoulders and neck also hurt from walking too much
luckily i'm not reslly experiencing any hair loss yet snd my nails arent too bad but like idk. idk why i do this to myself lmao.

700 calories per day is really extreme and i don't think trying to lose muscle is a good idea, you can't really accidentally grow them too big, it takes tremendous, active effort to grow them
the density of a pound of muscle is about a 1/3 of the size of fat so having muscle wouldn't really affect your body composition that much, i suggest you still try to get some in if nothing else to get rid of those complications you're having
also maybe try more vegetable for fiber, high protein and low carb, it's a good combo for something that's satiating while still low calorie overall
i've been on a fat loss journey myself since a couple of months ago

it is but i really want to lose weight like as fast as possible and 600-700 was the amount i came up with where i could meet atleast my micronutrient needs with my shakes and have a small bit of wiggle room though like again i need to stick to drinking 2 shakes and not hsving 0 or 1 then deciding "hmm i should eat something" meaning i cant have my second one lmao
also like idk if its body dysmorphia or something but im terrified of like gaining muscle even things i logically know wont make them grow (especially in a protein deficit) i still avoid like limiting my protein and avoiding certain exercises and stuff even despite how annoying the complications are
