I'm of the opinion that other people are just better than us.
I think about it some and it comes up in various threads here. "Normies". People raised in stable environments. If anyone is truly happy or are they just delusional. There are different angles to it.
But what if they are just better than us.
I'm not smart enough to express this properly.
I dont mean everyone. So many people arevl struggling right now. Not always their fault.
But some people are just better. They're happy. Legitimately happy. They have life figured out because their parents passed down the knowledge.
Ours didn't. Or did and there's something wrong with us for not listening.
Some just figure it out on their own.
But in animal kingdom the weak die off. Victim to a predator
We don't have that. Our society says everyone must continue. Even those of us that want out aren't allowed.
I'm rambling and sort of venting but I don't think they're delusional and not seeing the real world. They see it, make adjustments, then happily move on.
Being suicidal isn't a part of them.
I'm ok with. Most people are better than I am. It's fine.
I guess i wonder if others agree but the idea that we are all equal just isn't true

They are only better in that they were lucky. They recived love, and stability when it mattered. That will likely carry them through, but it may not. And yes I think you are on the right track. They live in a delusion. A delusion that has the potential to be crushed at anytime.

I think I know what you mean. The fittest survive and thrive. So- I suppose we should look at the most successful of our race and figure out what qualities they have we might not so much.

But then- do you want to be like those people? What do you think it is that makes them so successful? I'd say a greater ruthlessness a lot of the time. Not all of course. But, do you want to be ruthless? Are people like Trump, Musk, Putin, the CEO's of some of the biggest companies really better than the average person? Are they really more clever or, are they simply more cunning? What kind of person does do well in this world? I'm not sure they are necessarily what I would call 'better' or even 'good' a lot of the time!

Those are kind of the extreme examples though. There are millions that aren't ruthless, they just live every day with that purpose. It's just wired in them or instilled at an early age maybe.
Nothing dramatic. Not billionaires.
Like I said I'm not exactly sure how to describe. But start watching people you interact with. Nurse or mechanic or anyone. Some are just different.
They would not in a million years be on a site like this. Or even remotely need a therapist.
I'm not saying better to put us down. We're just not all the same. And they are truly happy with their lives. I know plenty of people like this.

Yeah- that's true. I used to wonder about some people too. Like- are they just naturally more optimistic or, are they putting on an act?

You described it beautifully and perfectly. It's 100% true. If so called 'normal' and 'successful' people had to grow up and had not received any love, support or guidance from their family members and had to figure everything on their own, they could have had ended up like us...meanwhile if we had the same love, guidance, resources and family support in life like they did, then we could not have been in these struggling life circumstances...The human life is not any different than the life in animal kingdom...only the fittest ones with the most resources and social connections can survive in the human world.
