• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I was driving today and came around a bend. A car coming the opposite direction was illegally (double yellow line) passing a semi. He made it but I had to slow a bit and veered slightly onto the shoulder.

I then thought "Damn! I should have floored it and veered into him instead of the shoulder. CTB!" The semi and other vehicles would almost certainly have crashed as well due to the speed of traffic. Plenty of witnesses would have seen this "accident" and vouched the other driver was clearly reckless and at fault. And if I'd survived I'd have a nice payout though likely extensive injuries.

Of course I reminded myself of my belief only one person should die in a suicide. My actions are mine alone and no one else should be forced to unwittingly hop the bus with me.

But yeah, for a moment I thought, that would have been so convenient.

Survival instinct sucks!!! But glad you ended up fine, your right when you say you should hurt/kill other people even if its not your fault in this case. I often wish that happen to me when i drive.
