Help May I ask for your opinions? - Related to SN

Hi guys, may I ask for ur help, please?
I found a SN seller, I placed my order and I ordered TWO bottles, one for testing and one for ctb.

I am gonna make up different sizes bcuz i dont wanna give too many hints to non-members.

The following sizes are fake and do not exist: let's say the smallest bottle is 350grams and the next one up is 700grams. I ordered two 350grams bottles.

Let's say the 350g costs 10 dollars and the 700g costs 15 dollars

I placed the order and paid. The seller asked for a phone number but I didnt give my real number. The reason being that where I live there's a doorman and I dont wanna him to know my phone number. Like u know, when u add ur phone number to an order, then it shows up on the package that u receive. I used a phone number from a different country.

Order shipped.

After a while I receive the package.

When I open it...there is a bad surprise: the seller DID NOT send me the two 350g bottles BUT a 700g bottle and only ONE of it. Also, inside the package there is a receipt saying "Item SN 700g - quantity 1 - price 20 dollars".

I was like...what??? The real price for 700g is 15 dollars.

So what the fuck happened? They sent me ONE big bottle with the same price of two little bottles.

I am fucking pissed off.

The seller did not say anything to me. If i check the order it CLEARLY says TWO 350g bottles.

Guys, I'm desperate. Why has the seller done this?

What do I do now? Can u please give me ur advices? I feel really sad and depressed. I wanted two fucking bottles. I ordered two little ones and not the big one.

I don't know what's standard with shipping SN, but in my experience this sort of thing happens commonly with medication at pet pharmacies to save on packaging. The price on the receipt will still reflect what you actually paid for the individual items as you added them to your order, but they list the quantity as the total once combined. I've never been told ahead of time that they're going to do it. Maybe something similar here? Definitely unfortunate for something that will last indefinitely if stored properly though, especially when you wanted to open one ahead of time to test :(

Hm, I would probably just ignore it and re-order a second bottle. But I have social anxiety about confronting people so take that with a grain of salt If you feel inclined I think it would be appropriate to contact the seller and ask why they did it, explain that you needed the contents packaged in two separate bottles (without mentioning what you're using it for), and ask if you could arrange for them to send you another bottle. Maybe if they aren't willing to do that they'd at least offer you a discount on a second order or something. I doubt they'd ask questions given they're already shipping SN to an individual address rather than a business. Just be prepared to accept the outcome if they say no because it's their policy, or if they never respond.

I'd be angry too if I were you. Really inconvenient and it sucks to have to pay extra and worry about another package getting noticed. I hope you're able to sort something out

I'm assuming you wanted two bottles so you could test one and keep the other for the day, it wouldn't really matter if you opened it and tested it as it'll take ages to degrade. You could always just not test it and keep it sealed until needed, especially if it's a brand name one from a reputable seller.

I don't believe you need to reorder. Just don't open it until you need to use it soon. Even if you opened it once or twice it won't affect it's purity much. There is a sticky thread at the top about stability of SN, you will find it helpful.

Even if you test 1 bottle now and you plan to use the other bottle much later, there's no guarantee. If you ordered from a chem supplier / lab chances are low they would sell any other product than the ordered one.

I would have opened a ticket in the store or contacted them, or directly made a return. They sent the order wrong. Yes, the price and quantity are adjusted but it is not what you ordered.

I can understand the store if they don't have 2 of 350 and send 1 of 700, but what I said is not your order. Claim and return or return and with the money in your hand place another order and call to clarify if they do not have a comments section when ordering.

SN also has other use cases than just meat curing, it's a widely used and a cheap chemical. Reading OP again, you say you've received 700g SN? why would you worry about use cases again?
