I am a successful business woman, have been all of my life. But live life alone. No family, no real friends, even though on the outside it looks great. I am now 55, and since I was 10 I have dreamed of suicide. I tried 3 times and failed, now I have a business where people depend on me, and 2 great dogs. So I am making a 7-8 year plan. I haven't made great decisions, especially where men are concerned, and I am a hot head when people cross me, but gosh, I have lived. Just without any one in my life, getting older is a reality. Anyone else have a long term checking out plan?

I always planned on waiting until my dog passed away to ctb. Last 6 months or so I just don't think I can wait anymore. I've considered many times and many ways of taking my dog out with me, but it's difficult because I don't want to end her life before I end mine, I want it to be simultaneous and even then I worry I'll fail and live while my dog dies… I couldn't handle that… I just don't know what to do… I guess my dog will outlive me then.
