I can barely even get 4 hours anymore. I work in 3 hours and all I can do is feel exhausted and sad. I've tried like melatonin and shit. I didn't sleep for work yesterday either

Same I have been awake for 2 days straight so far. Melatonin does help but it doesn't always do that job. If you don't mind Gaining weight and being hungry a lot then ask your psychiatrist for mirtazapine. I've tried it before for sleep and depression. It didn't help my depression but for sleep...I can't even describe it. After taking it in just about 20-30 minutes I felt insanely sleepy. One time I slept 14 hours on it. Mind you I didn't get any sleep prior to that so that's the reason for the big number in sleeping time but it did indeed help me with sleep. Pro tip exercise a lot while on it...I went from 63kg to 70kg in a month but I did manage to lose a few kgs after exercising. A good diet would also help with it.

I've changed it though since it didn't help me with depression. Soon I'm getting on lexapro which I'm predicting wouldnt work since I've tried SSRIS before like Prozac which didn't work. Thinking about asking for esketamine to feel it before my attempt with the powder form of it.

I think at some point you will fall asleep bc no organism can stay awake forever. But you should consult your GP if this condition persists for too long. Sleep is an important part of out health.

One option to aid with sleep is promethazine .. it has several uses ..anti sickness ..help with travel sickness and also heyfever.. but it does help wirh sleep aswell its what i use it for.. but any strong antihistamine should get you a least a little dozey to help you nod off..

My prescription suggestions:
I find clonidine helpful for sleep or Zoplicone(especially when im struggling with sleep) The one time I was given Ativan in the hospital it knocked me out hard. Weird dreams but I finally slept so.

Otherwise I like watching the same shows/videos I've watched or reading but I have adhd so find I needa like occupy my mind to like get to sleep. So safe shows/vids or an engaging book will get my brain tired/tire myself out.

Sometimes I used to force myself to get up and do things bc then I'd eventually physically tire myself out.

CBD/CBN/CBG type of cannabis products if that's available to you. Specifically CBN is said to be the one to help most with sleep. I find the opposite in that CBG makes me sleepy but the way my body reacts to things is weird/usually different

Hmm these are all I can think of rn.

I hope you are able to get more sleep soon 🤗

I take amitryptiline as antidepressant and it helps with sleep too.
