The new sleeping pills will knock you out for a day. Pain meds have a better chance of working but barely.

Yeah I know. It is frustrating and makes me mad that government makes us stay no matter what we want.

It's exactly so that people don't harm themselves. Whether it be suicide or just recreational drug use. Nihil novi sub sole. Complaining about it brings nothing new into the discussion. If anything current trend of suicides may push governments to outlaw even more substances such as sodium nitrite or helium.

I should have clarified taking multiple sleeping pills. I've been on various versions but when I was taking Ambien I would sleep over 14hrs/day. Also risperidone worked well for me but felt like shit when I woke up.

It is very unfair how they want to deny people ways to exit this world, after all we live in a world where there is so much suffering. I understand your frustrations. The right to die should always be respected. To me it is wrong to try and force people to live against their wishes as life is very pointless after all and we will all die eventually someday. More than anything I wish that suicide is easier, I wish to die in my sleep without having to go through the process of planning ctb. It really is such a horrible world that we live in.

yes... you need to get a prescription for any of the z-benzo sleeping meds.

thus the point: otc meds are essentially useless/nonlethal on their own.
