This doesn't sound like a good method. Please don't do anything rash. This might be very painful and you'll likely end up having to go to a hospital. Take a look around the forum to see what other methods are available to you. I'm sorry you're hurting so much you found your way here and are contemplating this.

Please don't, just don't.

It's a very bad method and even if it would work it would probably be very painful, slow, bloody and horrible. As another user wrote, don't do anything out of impulse. People have even survived being shot with an arrow through the heart.

Why is it so important to stab yourself in the heart?

If you are suffering this bad because of panic etc, please find another way to calm down. Stabbing yourself in the heart is Samurai level stuff that no one should attempt.

If you are really sure about CTB and have tried all possible ways you found to recover, then there are still better ways.

Maybe you even live in a country where you might get legal assisted help to CTB.

I think this is a method that is unlikely to work, due to the ribcage,- then your hand could slide down the blade and get badly cut. I wouyld not recommend this method, though each person needs to decide methods for themselves.

There are many problems with cutting:

1. It is painful.

2. Even if you endure the pain, you need a lot of strength and overcome SI, cause body tissue is actually very durable.

You are better off aiming at the carotid arteries in your neck, but that's very painful and messy and if you give up you'll have to explain your scars to everyone. Avicii did it, but it's hard to pull off sadly.

if you have the balls to try this method then why not go for an easier one like Sn , hanging or jumping? anyway, i think the two knives are big enough to hit your heart, but you also need good strength, the chest is pretty tough.

I'm not anyway near height high enough to jump. i cannot walk for long distances since after my foot surgery.
I dont have any firearms. I dont have money for Sodium Nitrite or Nembutal.

if you can wait a little longer until you can walk again and find better methods, thats what i suggest.

if i were ctb with a knife i would try to slice my neck, especially the carotid, it seems much easier
