Is SN a suitable method for diabetics?

So I have type 2 diabetes. Will be fasting for about 24 hours, so I anticipate my blood sugar decreasing a bit.

I'm on Metformin, planning to go off it in my last week, but should I?

Will any of these cause a problem? Can blood sugar problems make SN less effective?

Please help, I don't know where else to turn to for answers regarding these
