I wanna be a ghost actually. I can travel the world, check in a hotel without paying, I don't need food, and meet other ghosts that are not obsess with material success. I'll even be a guardian angel for kids that need it. Protecting those vulnerable creatures. I wanna be a ghost now.

And you don't have to pay rent, or get divorced, or ... deal with things like credit and poverty. TBH, ghost is a pretty ideal way to be on this earth.

I don't know, I'm actually kind of rooting for ghost. I would really love to be able to haunt my enemies. Go back to the office where management bullied me. Knock stuff off the walls all the time. I could get into that!
I get the impression that ghosts are not exactly happy. In fact they are miserable and trapped without an escape. I think they are deeply attached to a place and not able to leave. How this happens I don't know.
It's probably best to make a real effort to detach from everything in life including where you live before you ctb. Prepare to leave everything behind.

Maybe 'ghostly activity' is related to bad circumstances of death/mental anguish when the person died, causing some kind of residual negative mental energy.
Because whatever consciousness is, it must be a form of energy, and energy can't be destroyed, only modified or transformed according to thermodynamics.

I'd be down to be ghost really, as I've often thought 'I don't want anyone to know I exist'. I think I read an afterlife theory awhile back that centred around the idea of our consciousness being an energy of sorts, which after death is free to travel wherever in the planes of existence. Not to say I believe that, but it sounds quite nice.
The theory of ghosts are 4th dimension beings projected in the third dimension. Ask yourself this have you ever heard of a ghost that had a peaceful death? assuming they're real. No why, because if they had a peaceful death and they didn't spend their last minutes begging not to die/ the didn't accept their death, they would have moved to the 4th dimension.
Every ghost that has been ''seen'' and investigated died in an awful way whether that be murder or an accidental death. The only reason ghosts live in this 3rd dimension is because they haven't accepted their death yet and so can't move on.
So bottom line is if you don't want to be a ghost in this 3rd dimension, make sure when you die you have accepted your death and you are not in a negative state of mind eg extreme dear.
I mean, I wouldn't have to worry about going to the bathroom, eating, taking showers, etc anymore!
Also, I could watch the series and anime I love! That would be so epic! Although I would need a human being to turn on their tvs/computers and watch those shows because I guess I wouldn't be able to touch any stuff lol.
