I have a house to myself for a day. I didn't realise how much of my issue was people potentially hearing. I thought I was just chickening out, but I realise now that I have also been scared of being found. Would during the day...maybe like 11 am be ok? I only have the house for a day.

If ctb works from Sn, Stan's Guide says it takes 40 minutes to 4 hours, and it succeeds a high percentage of the time if you follow Stan's guide pretty closely, though in addition a b eta blcoker helps, as in the peaceful pill handbook. If an sn attempt fails people often reporting a lot of vomiting over 2 - 3 days, so that's a concern. One day is plenty of time if the attempt works, but if it doesn't you most likely won't be able to hide that you are very sick.Now also looking at airbnb. The one day house situation was my father and his wife's house. It would be pretty bad for me to do it there but I am running out of options. There is also a semi detached house on air bnb. Are semi detached houses or apartments quieter? And are they quiet enough? I want to be able to make as much noise as I want.
As for being found, I think if that happens one should seek medical help.
Also, in October I will have my father and his wife's house for a few days so I am also considering that. Don't really want to wait that long though. They will probably want to sell it after but sometimes you have to be selfish. :-/

A further thought, any sounds heard by others will be quiet and muffled, it'll just sound like regular living noises
It depends- in hotels or aprtments you may have a neighbor who could hear you, it depdens who is home when. Beiung able to make as much noise as you want won't work ni a situatio like this, or hardly anywhere, plsu the noisier it is there is more chance of failing due to vomiting. Maybe a cra parked in a remote area and you could make more noise if no one else comes along.
God, I think I'm going to wait until October and do it in a house that's comfortable and familiar to me ie my father and his wife's house. It's so selfish but I have to guarantee I do it. If I fail though I'll never be forgiven though so there is that. Thanks for your reply x
Does anyone know if anyone on here who attempted SN has ever been found due to noise? I know people have been found, but due to noise?
My plan is that I'll see if I can wait a month. My life is becoming so painful that a month seems a very long time away. If I can wait, I'll do it at my father and wife's house. If I can't, I'll do it at this semi-detached air bnb and hope for the best.Last edited:Similar threads
